Astrologically, we’re navigating an intense and transformative landscape. Several major planetary forces are currently in motion, stirring profound Change, exposing hidden truths, and prompting us to confront outdated systems and beliefs. This cosmic energy isn’t just affecting the world—it’s rippling through our personal lives, calling us to release old patterns and embrace new ways of being.
In the following story, I’ll explore these influences, translating the language of the stars into a journey we’re all experiencing. Through this lens, I hope to offer clarity and context for the powerful shifts we’re witnessing around and within us.
Here’s how some key players are driving this:
1. Pluto in Capricorn (2008–2023/2024): Pluto, the planet of transformation, destruction, and rebirth, has been in Capricorn, the sign of structures, governments, and authority, for over a decade. This transit has dismantled outdated systems, exposed corruption, and forced a profound reckoning with power structures. As Pluto nears the end of Capricorn, it’s creating intense pressure to purge what’s toxic or corrupt, bringing a final “crumbling” of no longer sustainable foundations.
2. Pluto's Transition into Aquarius (2024-2044): Pluto is about to enter Aquarius, signifying a shift towards collective power, technological advancement, and social equality. This transition moves the emphasis away from institutional control (Capricorn) and toward community engagement, innovation, and societal reform (Aquarius). As Pluto alternates between these signs, we can expect to witness the collapse of established structures and the emergence of new systems that prioritise humanity, equality, and technological progress.
3. Saturn in Pisces (2023–2026): In 2023, Saturn—the planet symbolising responsibility, discipline, and structure—moved into Pisces. Pisces tends to blur boundaries, potentially creating a sense of chaos; however, it also helps to unveil illusions and dismantle unseen barriers. Saturn in Pisces encourages us to “unmask" our reality, fostering spiritual, emotional, and psychological clarity. This transit urges us to embrace accountability in previously felt ambiguous or overly idealised aspects, potentially initiating a more profound spiritual awakening as we confront brutal truths and release our misconceptions.
4. Uranus in Taurus (2018–2026): Uranus, known for its rebellious and innovative nature, creates upheaval in Taurus, a sign associated with stability, resources, and the material realm. Its presence has been unsettling financial systems, resource management, and our connection with nature. This influence encourages us to reevaluate our values, embrace sustainability, and adapt to sudden shifts in the economy, food systems, and climate. It’s also a reason for the current instability, as the foundational structures we depend on (such as money and resources) are undergoing significant changes in flux.
5. Neptune in Pisces (2011–2026): With Neptune in Pisces, our sensitivity is intensified, boundaries become fluid, and the distinction between reality and fantasy becomes less clear. This transit has deepened our quest for meaning and empathy but has also given rise to misconceptions, deceit, and a tendency to escape. Neptune partly explains society's prevalent "masking” effect, where concealed motives and truths remain hidden. However, with Saturn now in Pisces alongside Neptune, this deceptive landscape is starting to crumble, allowing us to perceive reality more clearly.
6. Jupiter in Taurus (2023-2024): (YES - I know Jupiter is currently in Gemini, but the groundwork was laid while it was in Taurus.) Jupiter, the planet associated with expansion and growth, is now moving through Taurus, highlighting the importance of stability, resources, and values in our lives. This transit emphasises our connection to material security, urging us to seek practical solutions in uncertain times. While generally beneficial, Jupiter's influence can also amplify existing problems, making crises related to resources, values, and financial security more pronounced and urgent.
7. North Node in Aries, South Node in Libra (2023-2025): The North Node, which symbolises our collective "destiny," in Aries compels us to cultivate independence, bravery, and self-sufficiency. Meanwhile, the South Node in Libra urges us to let go of tendencies towards people-pleasing and reliance on outside approval. This transformation motivates us to assert ourselves, take decisive actions, and confront challenges directly, even when they feel uncomfortable or contentious.
Collectively, these planetary transits are shaping a dynamic environment for transformation. Existing systems are being revealed, falsehoods are dissolving, and we are urged to reconstruct from the foundation. This period compels us to unlearn, reassess our values, and create a more genuine, sustainable, and equitable world.
North Node in Pisces: As the North Node transitions into Pisces, our collective destiny will focus more on cultivating compassion, intuition, and spiritual development. This placement pushes us to trust the unseen, embrace creativity, and delve into mystical and spiritual viewpoints. This period will encourage us to prioritise unity, empathy, and connections that transcend logical constraints. There may be an increased emphasis on breaking down barriers between individuals, shedding rigid structures, and adopting a more flexible, responsive approach to life. Healing through spirituality, creativity, and compassion will be highlighted, and many may feel drawn toward practices that foster inner tranquillity and a sense of universal consciousness, such as meditation, artistic expression, or collective acts of kindness.
South Node in Virgo: The South Node in Virgo signifies the habits and inclinations we should aim to release or transform into healthier practices. Virgo embodies a practical, detail-oriented energy, often overly fixated on order, routine, and perfectionism. As we navigate this transition, we must avoid tendencies toward excessive analysis, criticism, and control. This is an invitation to ease our demand for precision and relinquish the urge to have everything meticulously arranged or “perfect.” Embracing this approach can alleviate stress associated with strict schedules or expectations, creating room for ease and flexibility.
Embracing Flow Instead of Control: The Pisces-Virgo axis encourages us to harmonise practical issues with the act of letting go. The Virgo South Node highlights the need for structure and discernment, whereas the Pisces North Node compels us to relinquish control, place faith in the unknown, and let events unfold naturally. This energy shift might lead us to value intuition and compassion more than judgment, discovering meaning in simplicity rather than rigid order.
Collective Healing and Unity: This pivotal shift will redirect attention to healing ourselves and society's collective wounds. The North Node in Pisces invites us to tackle our shared challenges and recognise a broader interconnectedness. This transit may motivate movements founded on compassion, forgiveness, and understanding, enabling us to transcend divisive or overly analytical mindsets collectively. The focus will be on discovering comfort and strength in unity instead of striving for perfection.
In the larger context of planetary transits—such as Pluto entering Aquarius and Saturn in Pisces—the nodal axis will inspire a transition from fixed, practical solutions to more spiritual, adaptable, and inclusive methodologies. With the South Node positioned in Virgo, we are encouraged to let go of judgment and control, while the North Node in Pisces directs us toward a more compassionate and open-minded future. This phase will likely emphasise transformation in healing, unity, and the quest for fulfilment and inner peace.
During periods of transformation, storytelling aids our comprehension of the world around us. The cosmic forces influencing our lives can seem intricate, remote, or even daunting; however, when we perceive them as a journey—a narrative we collectively share—they acquire a more profound significance.
The narrative below presents insights into the celestial forces that affect our lives. It intertwines themes of transformation, revelation, and rebirth, which occur all around us. Through this tale, I aim to offer a perspective that sheds light on the hidden influences steering us forward.
Once upon a time, under a stormy sky teeming with swirling cosmic energies, the world was in a peculiar state of Change. People sensed it deep within, a gradual unravelling that was both disconcerting and full of potential. It appeared that something was deteriorating in every direction, and something else was transforming, leaving many feeling that they stood on a ground that lacked the stability it once provided.
Pluto was the first to leave his mark. Since 2008, he has resided in Capricorn, the sign of structure, authority, and tradition. Over the years, Pluto has delved deep, peeling back the layers of our world to unveil the corruption and decay within systems we once trusted. Gradually, everything corrupt was exposed, from government bodies to corporate giants. As Pluto approached the end of his time in Capricorn, his intensity only heightened. It resembled a storm reaching its peak before an eerie calm, yet everyone understood nothing would remain the same once he transitioned.
In 2024, Pluto transitioned into Aquarius, a sign fundamentally distinct from Capricorn, akin to the contrast between fire and water. Aquarius symbolises the collective, embodying a vision of humanity united by ideals and equality. This shift shifted the focus from merely dismantling outdated systems to reconstructing them for the benefit of all. A new theme emerged: the elevation of community, a desire to share power, and a push for innovative ideas that would transform society for many years.
In 2023, Saturn began to work his influence in Pisces. As the severe teacher of the cosmos, he found himself in a sign synonymous with mystery and blurred boundaries. While Pisces dulled Saturn’s typically strict nature, he insisted on transparency, accountability, and responsibility—especially in previous ambiguity or silence. The walls concealing truths about emotional and spiritual issues started to fall away. Illusions dissipated, masks came off, and people began to confront the unvarnished reality beneath. Though not always pleasing, the truth proved essential, revealing new depths of understanding for those prepared to see it.
Uranus continued to create upheaval in Taurus, a cycle that began in 2018. Renowned as the great disruptor, Uranus questioned Taurus’ desire for stability and comfort. The financial sector, natural resources, and food supplies grew increasingly unpredictable. This energy prompted everyone to reassess their priorities, favour sustainability over convenience, and brace for shifts in aspects of life once considered secure.
Since 2011, Neptune has also been active in Pisces, crafting dreams and creating illusions. This period has increased sensitivity and compassion yet made it more challenging to discern the truth. Misinformation and escapism have become prevalent, enveloping many in uncertainty. However, as the fog drifts, Saturn joins Neptune in Pisces. Illusions can no longer obscure reality; the truth shines like a lighthouse piercing a dense mist.
Then came Jupiter, who entered Taurus in 2023, ushering in expansion and growth. However, this growth in Taurus was gradual, grounded, and closely linked to values, resources, and stability. It emphasised depth over superficial achievements—focusing on long-lasting outcomes. This transit highlighted our connection to the material world, increasing awareness of what people possess, require, and cherish most. While Jupiter’s influence can bring joy, it also heightened the visibility of crises, especially concerning security, wealth, and resources.
In 2023, the North Node transitioned into Aries, a symbol of bravery and autonomy, while the South Node settled in Libra, representing equilibrium and harmony. Individuals were encouraged to assert themselves, tap into their inner warrior, and adopt self-sufficiency. The focus was no longer on appeasing others or seeking external approval; instead, it centred on discovering inner strength, even when that strength felt uneasy or aggressive.
And just when it seemed like everything was changing, another transformation loomed ahead. In 2025, the North Node will shift into Pisces, while the South Node will take residence in Virgo. This new nodal axis emphasises compassion, unity, and spiritual development. The North Node in Pisces invites individuals to release strict frameworks, embrace creativity, and forge connections that transcend logical limits. It will be a period marked by the breaking down barriers, signalling a collective desire to care more, judge less, and find purpose beyond material pursuits.
At the same time, the South Node in Virgo encourages individuals to let go of perfectionism, excessive analysis, and the desire for control. It reminds us that life shouldn’t be overly planned or structured. Sometimes, it’s more beneficial to let things happen organically, trusting the process rather than trying to dictate a specific result. The Pisces-Virgo axis steers the world toward balancing practical care with spiritual surrender, guiding people to discover peace through unity instead of striving for perfection.
This was the scene of Change, as ineffective systems crumbled, illusions dissipated, and the urgent call for reconstruction grew stronger. It was a time that compelled everyone to reassess their values, release antiquated beliefs, and bravely welcome the unknown with empathy. While it wouldn’t be easy, those who dared to confront it would find that this transformative journey offered the opportunity to collaboratively forge a world that was more genuine, sustainable, and equitable for all.
"This is not just another day at work; it’s time to focus on what truly matters."
Recognise the deceit and cease the harmful practices that threaten our humanity. The ruthless greed and the desire to undermine others for power must stop. If we genuinely prioritise unity, we must begin to support each other. No one will rescue us; we must unite to rescue ourselves.
